What Housecall Pro isHousecall Pro publishes three tiers, Basic, Essentials and Max, each with a monthly price and a lower price when billed annually. [1][2][3] The tiers include one, five and eight users, and its pricing page says extra users on Max cost more. [3] Scheduling and dispatching start in Basic, with route tools in the higher tiers. [5]

When Housecall Pro may fit better

Housecall Pro may fit better if you want published tiers with routes and live-traffic route optimization already offered, and an import wizard for moving data in. [5][7] Larger crews can compare the eight users included on Max. [3] Apex is early access with one business as its only tenant, so it is newer and narrower.

How Apex is designed differently

Apex is designed so an online request arrives pending, and the owner confirms it before it is a confirmed visit. Pricing is by user count in three tiers, with extra users priced above six users, and no plan includes texts or AI phone minutes. Apex is designed to export your data, with export on cancel only partly built. This describes Apex design, not a gap in any other product.

This is a statement about Apex design, not a claim that Housecall Pro falls short. Apex Flow Scheduler is early access, its only tenant is Apex’s own first business, and many features are still rolling out.

What we could not verify

  • We did not verify add-on prices for campaigns, texting or other paid options on Housecall Pro's pages [1].
  • We did not read Housecall Pro's terms of service, so we state nothing about data deletion after cancelling [4].
  • Prices change. Check Housecall Pro's own pricing page before you buy [1].
