How to cancel my Housecall Pro subscription?
Short answerHousecall Pro's pricing page says it does not require long-term contracts and that cancelling is simple, and it points to its help center for the steps. [1] Before you press cancel, export your customer list and check whether you prepaid for a period. [1]
The explanation
I did not find a step-by-step cancel article I could verify, so use the vendor's own help center at help.housecallpro.com or the phone number on the pricing page. [1] Ask for the cancellation in writing and keep the confirmation.
Do the housekeeping first. Export customers, open jobs, invoices and any recurring schedules to CSV. If you accept payments through the platform, ask what happens to scheduled autopay and unpaid invoices.
Check the billing period. The page says plan changes take effect at the end of the current monthly or annual billing period, which suggests paying through the period you already bought. [1] Then tell your customers if the booking link or reminder texts will stop working. If the vendor handles your card payments or your phone number, ask what happens to those after cancellation, because they may sit with a separate processor or carrier.
