Product / Call answering and missed-call text-back

A missed call becomes a pending request, not a lost lead.

When you cannot pick up, the caller gets a text and a way to describe the job. When call answering is on, what the caller said lands in the same request record as every other channel.

In buildThe missed-call text-back rules (consent, quiet hours, opt-out) are built and tested. Connecting a phone line and call answering are in build.

How it works

  1. Call goes unanswered

A text goes out within minutes, respecting quiet hours and any earlier opt-out.

  2. Customer replies or calls back

The reply is attached to the same customer and the same request.

  3. Answering reads back

With call answering on, the service, area, day and window are read back to the caller before saving, and the call ends with "request received".

  4. You see one timeline

Caller, summary, requested service, area result, preferred window and follow-up outcome in one place.

What you get

  • No separate voicemail inbox to reconcile.
  • Phone minutes and carrier texts at cost, shown before you turn it on.
  • The same rules as the web request: out-of-area and weekend requests are not accepted as eligible.

Questions, answered first

Will the answering line tell a caller their visit is confirmed?
No. It says the request was received and that your team will confirm.
Do I pay extra for phone usage?
Phone minutes and carrier texts are passed through at cost. The meter is visible before you turn the feature on.
Does it make up prices?
No. For photo-quote services it gives no price at all, and for priced services it uses only the rules you configured.
