Is there a free trial for pool cleaning software?
Short answerI did not verify any pool-specific vendor, but general field tools offer trials: Jobber and Housecall Pro list 14 days with no credit card, and ServiceM8 lists 14 days with no card. [1] [2] [3] For a pool route, test recurring stops, route order and a place for chemical readings. [1]
The explanation
Pool service is a weekly route. A trial should prove that you can load forty recurring stops, order them by drive time and move a rained-out day in one action. Housecall Pro puts recurring service plans on its MAX tier, which is the plan its trial uses. [2]
Next, test records. Chemical readings, dosing and equipment notes per pool are the center of the job. A general tool may hold them as notes or forms, while pool-specific tools build them in. Ask what each trial covers.
End the trial with a decision date. Count the minutes saved on route building and the readings you actually recorded. If the readings lived on paper, the tool did not fit. Ask for pricing in writing before the trial ends. [1]
In residential cleaning (maid service)
Pool service repeats weekly and records chemicals each visit. A route with recurring stops and a note field per pool is the minimum. All residential cleaning (maid service) scheduling questions.

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.
Apex's pool service pack, pool chemical dosing calculator and route-based recurring stop lists are being built. The trial is 14 days with no card, so you can test what exists.
