What does plumbing dispatch software cost?
Short answerDispatch features cost more as they get more live. Housecall Pro lists routes and employee GPS tracking on its Essentials plan at $149 a month billed annually, and route optimization on Max at $299 billed annually [1]. Basic at $59 billed annually covers scheduling and dispatching for one user [1].
The explanation
Scheduling and dispatching are listed as a Basic feature on Housecall Pro, but the tools that make dispatch fast, grouping stops, tracking a plumber's phone and reordering by traffic, appear on higher plans [1]. That gap is the one plumbing owners feel.
Jobber's pricing page lists scheduling, routing and Find a Time recommendations as plan features, with Connect starting at $99 a month billed annually and Grow at $149 [2]. Extra users are $29 a month each [2].
Price it by the number of vans. A two-van shop with an office person needs three logins and probably a mid tier. Ask each vendor whether GPS tracking uses the phone or needs hardware, since hardware adds a monthly cost per vehicle that the plan price does not show. Write the answer down before signing.
What to watch for
- Dispatch tools that live one tier above the price you saw.
- Per-vehicle hardware charges for GPS.
In plumber
A plumbing dispatcher decides who goes where as calls arrive, so live technician location and quick reassignment are the features worth paying for. All plumber scheduling questions.

Apex lists a dispatch map with technician locations and daily route optimization, each with its own status badge. Pricing counts users only: $99 a month for two to five users, $129 for six, then $10 per extra user above 6.
