Is there a free trial for towing business software?
Short answerBefore you start a trial, ask whether it runs on the top plan, whether it needs a card, what happens to your data when it ends, and whether support answers after hours. Jobber says nothing is deleted if its trial lapses, which is the kind of answer to get in writing. [1]
The explanation
Trial terms differ. Jobber's page describes a 14-day trial with full access to its Grow plan and no credit card, and Housecall Pro's describes 14 days on its MAX plan. [1] [2] Ask the same of any towing vendor.
Next, ask about your data. Can you import your customers and past tows? Can you export them again? If the tool keeps your records after the trial, you lose nothing by trying.
Finally, ask about support at night. A tow operation runs when offices are closed, so a tool with daytime-only help is a risk. Write down the answers, run a week of real calls, and decide by the end of the trial, not after the card is charged. Keep notes of every answer you get from the vendor.
In towing service
Towing demand is unpredictable, so avoid starting a trial in a week you cannot spend time on it. A quiet week is better for testing. All towing service scheduling questions.
