When Setmore may fit better

Setmore may fit better for a solo owner or a team of up to 4 that wants a free booking page with payments and an app. [1][3] Pro adds text reminders and recurring appointments for a low per user price. [4] The Live Receptionist add-on covers calls for a monthly fee. [5] Apex is newer, narrower and early access.

How Apex is designed differently

Apex bills by user tier rather than per staff calendar, and no plan includes texts or AI phone minutes, which run on your own provider account or a prepaid wallet that is rolling out. Online requests arrive pending until the owner or the owner's rules confirm them. Data export is designed to be available at any time.
