Is there free junk removal software for a computer?
Short answerA free tool can run a junk removal calendar and a booking page, but pricing by truck load, photo quotes and dump fee tracking usually need more than a free plan offers. Square Appointments lists a Free tier at $0 per location, and Setmore advertises a free plan [1][2].
The explanation
Junk removal prices by volume, not by hour. A customer shows a pile, you estimate a fraction of a truck, and the price follows. A calendar tool with a fixed service price cannot represent that, so the price gets typed into notes and lost.
A photo request step helps a lot. Customers send pictures, the owner quotes from them, and the arrival window is set after the price is accepted. A free appointment tool usually lacks the quote step, so the sequence happens in text messages outside the system.
Costs behind the job also vanish: disposal fees, fuel and the second helper. Square Appointments lists a Free tier at $0 per location with higher online card rates than paid levels [1], and Setmore lists SMS reminders on its paid tier from $5 per user per month [2]. Neither is a job-costing tool.
What to watch for
- Truck-load pricing typed into a notes field.
- No place to record dump fees against each job.
In junk removal
Junk removal is priced by how much of a truck the pile fills, often from a photo, and the dump fee comes out of the margin on every load. All junk removal scheduling questions.
How Apex does it

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.
Apex lists a photo-based quote request and photo upload on the booking form, each with its own status badge. It does not track dump fees as a built-in feature. A 14-day free trial needs no card, and one user costs $59 a month.
