Is there a free lawn care scheduling app?

Process: Recurring jobs and memberships. Trade: Lawn care. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerFree scheduling apps can list lawn visits, but weekly routes, rain skips and per-property pricing push most crews toward a paid plan. Setmore advertises a free plan with recurring appointments on its paid tier from $5 per user per month ^[1]. A crew should test a full rainy week before adopting one.

The explanation

Lawn care is a repeat route. A crew mows forty properties on a Tuesday-Thursday rotation, and a rain day pushes everything back one day. An appointment calendar built for one-off bookings makes that shuffle painful, because each visit is moved by hand.

The deciding feature is recurring visits with a skip or reschedule-everything button. Setmore's pricing page lists recurring appointments on its paid tier, not its free plan, which shows where the line usually falls ^[1]. Square Appointments lists a Free tier with no employee limit but is also an appointment tool ^[2].

Test with a rainy week in mind. Enter twenty weekly lawns, mark Wednesday rained out, and see how many clicks it takes to move them. If the answer is twenty, the free app costs you hours every storm.

Steps

Enter twenty weekly lawns with a set day each.
Mark one weekday as rained out.
Count the clicks needed to move every visit.
Check whether a route order can be saved per day.

What to watch for

Recurring visits locked behind a paid tier.
No bulk move for a rained-out day.

In lawn care

Lawn crews run fixed weekly stops, and one rain day shifts forty properties, so bulk reschedule and recurring generation matter more than a pretty booking page. All lawn care scheduling questions.

How Apex does it

In progress

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.

Apex lists recurring jobs auto-generated and bulk reschedule to move a whole day, each with its own status badge, plus a lawn and landscape pack. A 14-day free trial needs no card; one user costs $59 a month afterward.
