How much does ServiceM8 cost?

Process: Software pricing and choosing. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerServiceM8 has a free plan for solo operators that covers up to 30 jobs a month, and paid plans begin at $29 a month. [1] A 14-day trial needs no credit card. [1] Moving from free to paid mostly buys more jobs and extra features such as forms and proposals. [1]

The explanation

The free tier is real but narrow. It covers one user and thirty jobs a month, and lets you create jobs, send quotes and invoices, manage clients and schedule. [1] The page lists items such as recurring jobs, deposits and job costing in the plan comparison for higher plans.

That pattern is common across the industry: a free or cheap tier covers the basics for one person, and the features that save a growing crew time sit further up. Check the plan table for the exact split rather than assuming. [1]

Also note currency and caps: prices are in USD, and texting has a monthly cap with an overage fee. [1] If you send many reminders, those texts can change the real monthly cost. Count a repeat visit as a job when you test, because the meter is by job, not by customer.

How Apex does it

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.

Apex has a 14-day trial with no card, not a permanent free tier. Paid plans are $59, $99 or $129 by user count, with texts and AI billed through your own provider or a wallet.
