How do I turn off a booking link on Calendly?
Short answerCalendly's help center describes an On/Off switch on each event type, and a bulk option to turn several off at once [1]. Deleting an event type removes it permanently while scheduled meetings stay unaffected [1]. Deleting the whole account is a separate path in Settings [2].
The explanation
An event type is the template behind a booking link. The vendor's article on managing event types says you can toggle one on or off with a switch, and that bulk editing lets you delete or toggle several selected types together [1]. Turning a type off is the gentler option, since you can switch it back on later.
The same article states that deleting an event type permanently removes it and that already scheduled meetings are not affected [1]. That matters for a service business: anyone with a link to a deleted type will lose the page, while their existing visit remains on the calendar.
To close the whole account, the account deletion article lists Settings, then Profile, then Delete Account, followed by a choice such as transferring ownership or disbanding the organization, and an emailed verification code [2]. Before any of this, tell customers where the new booking link is, and update the link on your website and listing.

How Apex does it

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.
Apex is designed with internal-only hidden services, lead time and blackout dates, and month-to-month billing with in-app cancel. Hidden services are a built screen not yet saving data, and the cancel path is partly built.
