How do I cancel and delete a Jobber account?
Short answerJobber's help center describes canceling the subscription from the gear icon under Account and Billing, then using a separate article to permanently close the account afterward [1]. The vendor says closing is a step you take after canceling [2]. Export your customers and jobs before either step.
The explanation
The cancellation article says to sign in, click the gear icon, choose Account and Billing, and find the section for changing your subscription [1]. The separate closing article states that closing an account is something you can do after canceling [2].
The vendor's frequently asked questions page says that on a monthly plan you can cancel any time with no penalties, and that an annual plan works differently with its yearly fee [3]. Read that page for the terms that apply to you, because billing periods decide what you have already paid for.
Before you cancel, export client lists, job history, and invoices so you hold a copy outside the tool, and move recurring customers to your next system. Keep the old account open until the new one has run a clean week. Closing an account is described as permanent, so treat it as the last step.

Apex is designed with import from other tools' exports, switch protection so original data stays intact, and a data export on cancel. These are partly built or rolling out, so check the status badges.

- OB14Switch protection (never lose data, ledger)(Rolling out)
