What does QuickBooks cost?

Process: Integrations and accounting. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerQuickBooks Online costs $38 a month for Simple Start with one user, $85 for Essentials with three, $140 for Plus with five and $340 for Advanced with twenty-five. [1] The page advertises 50% off the first three months. [1] Accountant seats are listed apart from the user count. [1]

The explanation

Match the plan to people, not to ambition. If the owner is the only one who touches the books, one user is enough. If an office manager and a bookkeeper also log in, Essentials fits. [1]

Plus is the plan the page marks as a customer favorite, and it adds inventory tracking. [1] A cleaning company with no parts does not need it, while a plumber who tracks stock might.

Keep an eye on the renewal. A promotion ends and the list price applies. Put the full yearly figure in your budget so the first full month is not a surprise, and review the plan once a year. Prices were read on 2026-10-07 and exclude tax. If you grow past five users, the Advanced plan is the next step on that page.
