What are QuickBooks products and pricing?

Process: Integrations and accounting. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerQuickBooks Online lists four plans: Simple Start at $38 a month for one user, Essentials at $85 for three users, Plus at $140 for five users, and Advanced at $340 for 25 users [1]. The page also shows a 50% promotional discount for three months and a 30-day free trial [1].

The explanation

These are the regular monthly prices on the vendor's page as read on the date above, and promotions change often. For the current number, check the vendor's own page at quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing before deciding. Prices differ by country and change with promotions.

For a small service business, the difference between the plans is mostly user count and reporting depth. A solo owner who sends invoices and records expenses often fits the entry plan [1]. A shop with an office person, a bookkeeper and an owner will need more seats [1].

Remember that accounting is a separate tool from scheduling. Many field service apps sync invoices and payments into it rather than replace it. Payroll, payments and other add-on products are priced separately, so ask your accountant which pieces you actually use before paying for more.

What to watch for

  • Promotional prices that revert after the introductory period.
  • Add-ons such as payroll that are priced outside the plan.
