How to import a job schedule into Google Calendar?
Short answerExport your job schedule from your field software as an ICS or CSV file, then import it through the calendar's Import and Export settings on a computer. Google Calendar accepts both file types there. [1] The result is a snapshot, so later changes in the schedule do not follow.
The explanation
Google's help page says to export events from the other application first, choosing CSV if you can pick a format. [1] For a job schedule, map each visit to an event: the job name as the subject, the arrival window as start and end, the address as location and the job notes as the description.
Then in Google Calendar, open Settings, choose Import and Export, select the file, pick the calendar to add events to, and click Import. [1] By default events go to your primary calendar, so consider creating a separate calendar first so you can remove the batch if something is wrong.
Remember what the page says: guests and conference data are not imported. [1] The import does not stay in sync with your software afterward. If you need a live view of the schedule in a calendar, look for a feed or sync option instead of repeating imports.

- Treating the import as a live link.
