How to change connected calendars in calendly?

Process: Integrations and accounting. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerTo change connected calendars in Calendly, open the calendar settings, connect or remove an account, then choose which calendars to check for conflicts and which one new events are added to [1]. Save the settings and confirm the calendar shows as connected. If you connect more than one, pick a main calendar for bookings [1].

The explanation

The vendor's guide says to go to Availability, then Calendar settings, select the option to connect a calendar account, sign in and allow access [1]. After that you choose the calendars to check for busy times [1]. Anything unchecked will not block your availability.

When you change accounts, review both lists. A common slip is removing an old calendar from the conflict list but leaving it as the place where bookings are added, so new meetings land where nobody looks. Choose the destination deliberately [1].

After the change, book a test time from a private window and see it appear on the right calendar. Also create a busy event on a checked calendar and confirm the matching time disappears from the page. Keep a note of the settings for your records.

Steps

  1. Open the calendar settings and connect or remove the account.
  2. Choose which calendars are checked for conflicts.
  3. Choose the calendar that receives new bookings.
  4. Test with a fake booking and a busy event.

What to watch for

  • Leaving an old calendar as the destination for new bookings.
  • Forgetting to check a personal calendar for conflicts.

How Apex does it

In progress

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.

Apex has two-way Google and Outlook calendar sync as in-progress pieces. Which calendars are checked and where new jobs land are the settings to test before relying on them.
