Why is my calendly link not working?

Process: App reliability and support. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerA booking link that does not work for customers is usually the wrong link, an event type with no open times, or a broken embed on your website. Test it in a private browser window the way a customer would, and use the Preview and Troubleshoot tool to see why times are missing [1].

The explanation

First confirm you are sharing the right link. A personal landing page shows all your event types, while a booking page shows one. Copying the wrong one is a common cause of customers seeing nothing useful. Open the link in a private window with no login, so you see what they see.

Then check that open times exist. If the page loads but shows no dates, availability is the problem, and the vendor's Troubleshoot tool lists the reasons a time is blocked [1]. Holidays, daily limits, notice rules and a busy connected calendar are all things to review.

If the link works alone but fails on your website, the embed is the culprit. Re-copy the embed code and check that your website platform allows it. Send the plain link in the meantime, and tell customers they can also call you.

Steps

  1. Open the link in a private window while logged out.
  2. Confirm it is the booking page you meant to share.
  3. Check for open times with Preview and Troubleshoot.
  4. If it only fails on your website, copy the embed code again.

What to watch for

  • Testing only while logged in as the owner, which hides what customers see.
  • Sharing a link that has no open days at all.

How Apex does it

Not a scheduler feature

Apex has a hosted booking page and an embeddable widget that show real availability to visitors. A request arrives as pending and the owner confirms it. That is a different model from a plain link and has its own setup steps.

Apex Flow Scheduler is in early access. See how we label status.
