Why is my bookings page not working?

Process: App reliability and support. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerWhen your bookings page is not working, check four things in order: whether the link itself loads, whether any open times exist, whether the service being booked is active, and whether a website embed or plugin is blocking the page. Test as a stranger would, in a private window, from a phone on cell data.

The explanation

Start by loading the page the way a customer does. Use a private window and a phone off your Wi-Fi. If the page does not load, the problem is the host or the link. If it loads but has no times, the cause is availability: a blackout date, a notice rule that is too long, or a full calendar.

Then check the service. A service marked inactive, hidden or out of the service area will not appear to customers. Make sure the price, duration and zip code rules are what you intended. Check also that required fields on the form are not asking for something customers cannot supply.

If the page works alone but fails inside your website, the embed is the likely problem. Re-paste the code, disable conflicting plugins and test again. Always leave a phone number visible, so a failed attempt does not mean a lost customer.

Steps

  1. Load the page in a private window on a phone using cell data.
  2. Check that open times exist and no blackout or notice rule hides them.
  3. Confirm the service is active and the service area includes the test address.
  4. If it fails only on your website, re-paste the embed code and test again.

What to watch for

  • Testing only while logged in as the owner.
  • Setting a notice rule so long that no times ever show.

How Apex does it

Built, rolling out

Built. A real server path exists; only setup steps remain before customers can use it. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.

Apex has a hosted booking page and an embeddable widget showing real availability, with lead time, blackout dates and service-area rules. The pages are built, and saving real customer bookings is still being connected.
