How do I sync my calendar to my phone?
Short answerCopy the schedule's subscribe link, add it to the phone's calendar app as a subscribed calendar, and confirm the visits appear. This one-way method works on most phones, needs no installed app, and cannot overwrite the schedule. Expect a refresh delay of up to several hours before a change shows up.
The explanation
A subscribe link is a web address that returns the schedule in a standard calendar format. The phone fetches it on its own timer. That is why it is safe, since the phone only reads, and also why it is slow. A visit added at nine may not appear until the phone checks again, so do not treat it as a live view.
On most phones the steps are the same in spirit: open calendar settings, add an account or calendar by URL, paste the link, and save. Name the calendar something obvious like Work visits, and give it a color, so it stays distinct from personal events.
For live changes, such as a customer cancelling while you are driving, rely on the scheduling system itself in the phone browser or home screen shortcut. Use the feed for planning, and the system for the truth.
Steps
- Find the schedule's subscribe or calendar feed link in the settings of your scheduling system.
- Copy the link, then open the phone's calendar settings and choose to add a subscribed calendar by address.
- Paste the link, name the calendar Work visits, and choose a distinct color.
- Create a test visit and check how long the phone takes to show it.
What to watch for
- Sharing the feed link publicly. Anyone with the address can read customer names and addresses, so treat it like a password.
- Trying to edit a subscribed calendar on the phone. It is read-only by design.
How Apex does it

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.
Apex is designed to offer a subscribe feed in ics format, an agenda list view, and installation to the phone home screen as a web app instead of an app store download. The feed is in progress.
