How much does Google Calendar API cost?

Process: Integrations and accounting. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerGoogle says standard use of the Calendar API is available at no additional cost. [1] The same page lists a limit of 600 requests per minute per user and 10,000 per minute per project, and a daily threshold of 1,000,000 requests below which there is no charge. [1]

The explanation

For a small business, those limits are far beyond normal use. A scheduler syncing a few hundred events a day sits well inside them. [1]

The page also warns that exceeding quotas can lead to charges later in 2026, and that quota increases can be requested but are not promised. [1] If you build or buy an integration, ask whether the vendor handles rate limiting for you.

Cost is not the main risk with a calendar sync. Conflicts and duplicates are. Decide which calendar is the source of truth, so a job edited in two places does not overwrite itself. Test any two-way sync with a deliberate edit conflict before trusting it with live jobs. Check the quota page for current numbers before you build anything. Keep it simple.

How Apex does it

In progress

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.

Apex has a connection to a business calendar and a two-way sync, both still in progress, so check the status badge. The design treats the scheduler as the source of truth for confirmed visits.
