Did QuickBooks prices go up?
Short answerI cannot confirm QuickBooks price history from the page I read, which shows current prices of $38 for Simple Start and $140 for Plus. [1] To find out whether yours went up, compare your invoices across months and look for a changed plan, user count or ended promotion. [1]
The explanation
Open your last twelve invoices from the vendor. Write the plan name, the user count and the amount for each. If the amount changed while the plan stayed the same, you have a real increase, and you can ask support when it took effect.
If the plan name changed, the vendor may have moved you, or you may have chosen a higher tier. And if the first invoices were lower, you may have been on the promotional rate of 50% off for three months. [1]
Keep notices from email. Vendors usually announce changes by message, and the notice period depends on the terms. Do not rely on memory; save the invoices as PDFs in one folder. If the vendor will not answer in writing, treat the list price as the only price.

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.
Apex shows its prices as $59, $99 and $129 a month on the site, and plans can be changed from inside the account. Keep your own invoices, as you should with any vendor.
