Is there free sprinkler service software?
Short answerA sprinkler service can start on a free job tool, such as ServiceM8's free plan for one user with 30 jobs a month. [1] The seasonal rush of spring start-ups and fall blowouts can pass that limit quickly, so check job caps before relying on it. [1]
The explanation
Irrigation work comes in waves. Spring start-ups and fall winterizations can fill a calendar in a few weeks, then go quiet. A cap of thirty jobs a month would be reached in days during peak weeks. [1]
Records matter here: each property has zones, a controller and notes on heads and valves. A free tool can hold notes and photos per customer, but you will be building the structure yourself. Keep a standard note for each system.
Seasonal pricing is easier if you can message a list of past customers each spring. Check whether the free tier lets you do that or only sends job-specific messages. Run the free plan through one busy week and see what breaks. Prices were read on 2026-10-07 and can change.
In irrigation and sprinklers
Start-up and winterization are predictable annual jobs. A tool that can repeat a yearly visit and remind customers saves you from calling every account. All irrigation and sprinklers scheduling questions.
