Is Acuity Scheduling worth it?
Short answerAcuity Scheduling is worth it for one-to-one appointments at a fixed place, where its Starter plan is $16 a month on annual billing or $20 monthly. [1] It is a booking page, not a dispatch tool for crews that drive to customers. [1]
The explanation
The page lists Starter at $16, Standard at $27 and Premium at $49 a month when paid annually, and $20, $34 and $61 when paid monthly. [1] A 7-day trial needs no credit card.
The tiers split by calendars: Starter has one, Standard up to six and Premium more. [1] That suits a salon or consultant with a few staff members and fixed rooms.
For a mobile crew you need routes, drive time, estimates and invoices, which a booking page does not provide. If your business is at a fixed address and clients choose their time, test it for the week. If you drive to customers, look for field service features first. Run the 7-day trial with a real client before paying. Prices were read on 2026-10-07 and exclude taxes.
How Apex does it

Apex's booking page shows real availability, and a visitor's request arrives pending until the owner or the rules confirm it. Routes and reminders sit alongside it, with a 14-day trial.
