How to cancel a Calendly appointment?

Where a tool offers no cancel link, the customer must contact the business directly, so state that route in the confirmation.
The explanation
Most scheduling tools place a cancel or reschedule link in the confirmation email. The customer clicks it, confirms and the slot is released. If a customer cannot find the message, search their inbox for the business name or ask them to reply to the reminder.
The owner side matters just as much. Decide what a cancellation means: free until a cutoff, then a fee, with no automatic refund of a deposit unless your policy says so. Say that in the confirmation, because customers read the link, not the footnote.
If the business needs to cancel for them, do it from the calendar view, add a reason and contact the customer personally. Check the vendor's own help center for the exact steps in the tool you use, since menus change often.
