Is Calendly worth it?
Short answerCalendly is worth it when your business sells scheduled conversations or visits at a fixed place and you want customers to choose a slot, with a free plan and paid seats from $10 a month. [1] It is less of a fit when you drive to customers and need routes and job details. [1]
The explanation
The page describes the product around hosts, meetings and invitees. [1] That wording is a hint of its design: it is made for people booking time with people.
A service visit has more parts: an address, a service, a price, an arrival window, a crew member, and often an approval step before you commit your day. A link can collect a time, and you can add questions, but the rest still lives in your head or a spreadsheet.
So ask which problem is costing you more. If it is phone tag to find a time, a link tool is worth trying free. If it is routes, quotes and invoices across a crew, look at a scheduler built for visits. Many owners use both for a while, and that is fine.
How Apex does it
Built, rolling out
Built. A real server path exists; only setup steps remain before customers can use it. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.
Apex is built around the visit: a request, an owner confirmation, a route and a reminder. It does not replace a meeting-link tool for sales calls. Plans are by users, $59 to $129.
