Is Homebase worth it?
Short answerHomebase is worth it if your problem is staff shifts, time clocks and team messages, and it costs nothing on the Basic plan for one location and up to 10 employees. [1] If your problem is customer visits and routes, it is aimed at a different job. [1]
The explanation
Match the tool to the problem. A shift app answers who is working Tuesday. A service scheduler answers which customer is visited at what time and in what order.
The paid tiers run $30, $70 and $120 per location a month, with payroll as an add-on that has its own base fee. [1] For a restaurant or retail floor that is a fair range. For a mobile crew paid by the job, you may be paying for features you will not open.
The easiest test is free: use Basic or the All-in-One trial for two weeks and see whether your office actually saves time. [1] If you still keep a separate calendar for customer appointments, you have your answer. If your office is only you, the free tier costs nothing to try.
