Does Calendly allow double booking?

Short answerBy design, no. Calendly's help center says it checks your connected calendar in real time and does not offer a time that is busy there ^[1]. The protection covers calendars you have connected. Bookings kept in a notebook, another app or a second team calendar can still collide.

The explanation

Calendly's scheduling FAQ says it checks your connected calendar alongside your availability and event settings to prevent double booking ^[1]. If a time is busy on that calendar, it is not offered to the person booking ^[1].

That design fits a single person with a meeting calendar. It protects against double booking when everything lives on the calendar Calendly can read ^[1]. It does not know about a crew of three, a truck, or a customer booked by phone into a different tool.

For a field business, test the gaps. Connect every calendar you use, then add a phone booking by hand and see whether the online page hides that time. Use meeting limits and buffers if you need rest between jobs. Read Calendly's own page for current behavior, since settings and plans change ^[1].
