How to use Jobber?

Process: App reliability and support. Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerJobber's help center describes importing clients from a CSV spreadsheet, importing jobs, and setting up routes. [1] A sensible first week is to load a clean client list, enter a few real jobs, test the schedule view, and only then add your crew.

The explanation

Per the help center, clients can be imported from a CSV, with a prompt to confirm that your column headings match supported fields. [1] Clean the spreadsheet before uploading. Merge duplicates, fix phone formats and remove people you no longer serve, because an import is quicker than a cleanup.

The help center also says one-off and recurring jobs can be imported from a CSV to build the calendar. [2] If you have recurring customers, that is worth testing on three or four rows first and checking the dates before loading the rest.

For routing, the help center describes a master route and a daily route, with limits by plan and schedule version. [3] Read that article before assuming it fits your account. Then run a real day: create the jobs, view the schedule, and see what a crew member sees in the field.

What to watch for

  • Importing a messy list and cleaning it afterwards.
  • Testing only in the office and not with a crew member's phone.

How Apex does it

In progress

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.

Apex includes a guided setup wizard, customer import from CSV and a sample data demo tenant. The wizard is built, while import and the demo tenant are partly built or built as screens only.
