When Fergus may fit better

Fergus may fit better for a trade business that wants a month-to-month tool with job cards, quoting and supplier links [1][4][6]. Its published plans start in a low monthly range [2], and it names a US presence [7]. Apex is early access, with one business as its only tenant, so it is newer and narrower.

How Apex is designed differently

Apex is designed around a request flow: an online request arrives pending until the owner or owner's rules confirm it. Plans are priced by number of users, with texts and AI run on the owner's own provider account instead of being sold as add-ons. The owner can export customers as CSV, and in-app cancel is partly built.

This is a statement about Apex design, not a claim that Fergus falls short. Apex Flow Scheduler is early access, its only tenant is Apex’s own first business, and many features are still rolling out.
