How do I schedule meetings with a Calendly link?
Short answerCalendly describes a booking page you share by link: you connect your calendar, define an event type with its duration, location, limits, and buffers, then send the link so invitees pick a time [1]. Times appear in the invitee's time zone [1]. It is built for meetings, so test whether it fits site visits.
The explanation
The vendor's getting started article says Calendly shows your available times based on a connected calendar and the hours you set, and that others cannot see the details of the calendar itself [1]. Booked meetings are published to that calendar automatically [1].
An event type holds the basics: name, duration, and location. The article says you can also set how far ahead people can book, add buffers before or after, require minimum notice, and cap meetings per day, week, or month [1]. You then share the scheduling link, add times to an email, or embed the page on your website [1].
For a service business, the key question is what the tool does not know. A meeting tool does not know about drive time between addresses, crews, or recurring plans unless you encode them in the event settings. Use buffers for travel, and test a week of real visits before relying on it.

Part of this is built. The rest is not. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.
Apex is designed with buffer time between jobs, per service minimum notice and booking limits, and two-way calendar sync. All three are partly built, and the status badge shows what is in place.
