What goes in a free printable cleaning schedule?

Process: Booking and scheduling. Trade: Residential cleaning (maid service). Reviewed 2026-10-07.

Short answerA printable cleaning schedule for a business needs seven columns: date, start time, address, team, tasks, access notes and price. One page per day, one row per visit, with drive time left blank between rows. Print it the night before so the team has access codes and pet notes in hand.

The explanation

Build it as a day sheet, not a month calendar. A month grid has no room for the gate code, the dog that barks or the ovens the customer added this time. A day sheet gives each visit a full row, and a note column for what changed since last time.

Add a small block at the bottom for the team: who drives, who carries supplies, and where to meet if the first visit runs over. Leave a blank row between visits for travel, and write the estimated finish time so the next customer is not left waiting.

Paper works until you have more than a handful of recurring clients. Once the same customer repeats weekly, retyping rows becomes the problem, and the sheet should come from a calendar instead of being copied by hand. A spreadsheet with a repeat column is the middle step.

Steps

Create columns: date, time, address, team, tasks, access notes, price.
Add one row per visit with a blank row for travel.
Mark recurring clients and add their repeat day.
Print the sheet the night before and keep a spare copy.

What to watch for

Access codes left off the sheet.
Retyping weekly clients instead of copying a repeat column.

In residential cleaning (maid service)

Cleaning teams carry the sheet into homes with codes, pets and special requests, so each visit row should hold the notes a stranger would need. All residential cleaning (maid service) scheduling questions.

How Apex does it

Rolling out

The screen and the rules are built and tested. Saving real customer data is not connected yet. Status as of 2026-10-07; the badge shows the least-built feature involved.

Apex lists a printable route sheet or day plan and an agenda list view, each with its own status badge. They produce the same day sheet from the calendar, with repeat visits generated for you instead of copied by hand.
