Is there free towing billing software?
Short answerFree invoicing tools exist, but towing bills have quirks a generic invoice does not handle: hook-up plus mileage, storage by the day and billing a motor club instead of the driver. A towing company should test a real invoice for each case before trusting any free tool with its records.

Towing invoices are built from parts. A base hook-up charge, a per-mile rate, a gate or after-hours fee, then daily storage that keeps growing until the car leaves. A tool that only supports a fixed price per item forces you to type totals by hand.
A second pattern is third-party billing. Roadside work often bills a motor club or an insurer, with their own reference numbers and slower payment, while a private tow takes card at the curb. Check whether the tool can hold a purchase order or reference number on the invoice.
Free tools also tend to charge in processing. If the free plan carries a higher card rate, a busy tow business can pay more through fees than through a subscription. Compare the rate you would pay on a month of real tickets.
