How to use Calendly for free?
Short answerTo use Calendly for free, sign up for the Free plan, connect one calendar, create your single event type and share the booking link. [1] The plan allows one event type, one calendar and one-on-one scheduling, so it fits a business that sells one kind of appointment. [1]
The explanation
Pick the one appointment that matters most. For many service owners that is the estimate visit or a first consultation. Name it plainly and set how long it takes, so people do not choose a slot that is too short.
Use the free browser extension and customizable booking page the plan lists. [1] Put the link on your website, Google profile and text signature.
Know the limit. With a single event type, you cannot also offer a short call and a long visit. And intake questions such as address, gate code or pet details have to be collected another way. When you outgrow it, the paid Standard plan adds event types and reminders. [1] Revisit the setup after a month and see how many bookings needed a phone call to fix.
Steps
- Create a free account with the email you use for customers.
- Connect the one calendar you use for work.
- Create a single event type with a plain name and the right length.
- Set the days and hours you can take appointments.
- Share the link on your website and Google profile.
- Review bookings daily and confirm by phone or text.

Apex's booking page offers a menu of services with durations and can ask intake questions, so more than one kind of appointment fits. Customer requests stay pending until confirmed.
