A blank in the first column means we did not verify it. We make no claim about features FieldEdge does not publish.
When FieldEdge may fit better
FieldEdge may fit better if you run several trucks in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work and want a dispatch board, GPS-based dispatching and a QuickBooks link in one product. [1][2][3] Apex is early access with one business as its only tenant, so it is newer and narrower, and its dispatch map is partly built.
How Apex is designed differently
Apex is designed for small service businesses and lists its prices by number of users in three tiers. An online request arrives pending, and the owner confirms it before it becomes a visit. No plan includes texts or AI phone minutes, and Apex is designed to export your data, with export on cancel partly built. This describes Apex design, not a shortfall elsewhere.
This is a statement about Apex design, not a claim that FieldEdge falls short. Apex Flow Scheduler is early access, its only tenant is Apex’s own first business, and many features are still rolling out.
What we could not verify
- FieldEdge does not show prices on the pages we read, so we state no dollar figure [4].
- We could not confirm FieldEdge's customer terms for cancelling or exporting data, because the legal page we found redirected to a document we could not read [4].
- We did not find a FieldEdge help center page for exporting the customer list [2].
- Prices change. Ask FieldEdge for a written quote and its current terms [4].
